What things should you do every day to become smarter?

smarter

Read. Surround yourself with positive people. They don’t need to be smart or smarter. They could be positive, hard-working, disciplined. As long as you surround yourself with people who have their own view and thinking, you’ve successfully surrounded yourself with good people. Write. Try out writing every day. It helps you keep things in perspective. I think, therefore I am. How about, I write, therefore I am. It’s a fun twist to explore. Don’t quit social media. I quit social media for a few months and while it had its positives, it also came with a few drawbacks. In today’s world it’s important to stay connected. It’s enough to make sure one doesn’t spend too much time on social media. But why quit if you can use it for good? Learn to tell stories. Talk to as many people as you’re willing to do. Be open, stay open, stay learning. Think! Don’t live your life on autopilot. Stay on your own path. Ask yourself where you’re wanting to be in a few years and try to work towards that instead of following the crowd. Learn to be happy no matter the outcome. Learn to face your fears, instead of avoiding them. It’s tough and difficult but it is indeed what keeps you moving forward! If Bill Gates donates so much of his money, how is he still one of the top three richest people in the world?

If Bill Gates donates so much of his money, how is he still one of the top three richest people in the world? Bill Gates isn’t really that interested in money. He said, as reported by the Seattle Times: “I can understand about having millions of dollars. There’s meaningful freedom that comes with that, but once you get much beyond that I have to tell you, it’s the same hamburger.” However, he keeps getting richer for two reasons. First, the value of his Microsoft shares has kept going up. When Microsoft launched its IPO in 1986, Gates owned 45% of the company, and he was only worth $350 million. At today’s market cap of $860 billion, 45% would be worth $387 billion. Second, he doesn’t even think about it. Since 1995, he has had a personal money manager called Michael Larson. It’s his job to make Gates richer, and he’s done it extremely well. Gates has made a small number of investments outside that, but his main purpose has been to support biotech companies. Gates doesn’t have any expensive hobbies like buying sports clubs and huge yachts (like Paul Allen) or sending rockets into space (like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos). He likes reading books, playing bridge with Warren Buffett, playing golf, and spending time with his family. Gates actually drove his kids to school, which is one way he spent time with them. How many multi-billionaire CEOs have ever done that? A young man meets an old man and asks him

A young man meets an old man and asks him: – Do you remember me? And the old man says NO. Then the young man says that he was his student. And the teacher asks: – What are you doing, what do you do for a living? The young man responds: – Well, I became a teacher. – Oh, good, like me? – said the old man – Yes. Actually, I became a teacher because you inspired me to be like you. The old man, curious, asks the young man what moment inspired him to become a teacher. And the young man tells the following story: – One day, a friend of mine, also a student, arrived with a beautiful new watch, and I decided I wanted it for myself and I stole it, took it out of his pocket. Soon after, my friend noticed the theft and immediately complained to our teacher, who was you. So, you stopped the class and said: – Your friend’s watch was stolen during class today. Whoever stole it, return it. – I didn’t return it because I didn’t want to. So you closed the door and told us all to get up and you were going to rummage through our pockets until we found the watch. But, he told us to close our eyes, because he would only look if we all had our eyes closed. So we did, and you went from pocket to pocket, and when you got to mine, you found the watch and took it. You kept looking for everyone’s pockets and when you said: – “Open your eyes. We already have the watch.” You didn’t tell me anything and you never mentioned the episode. You never said who stole the watch. That day, you saved my dignity forever. It was the most shameful day of my life. But it was also the day my dignity was saved from becoming a thief, a bad person, etc. You never said anything to me, and even though you didn’t scold me or call my attention to give me a moral lesson, I got the message clearly. And thanks to you, I understood that this is what a true educator should do. Do you remember that episode, professor? And the teacher replies: – “I remember the situation, the stolen watch, which I was looking for in everyone, but I don’t remember you, because I also closed my eyes while looking.” Also Read : Article Re-Writing Tool – 100% Free Read Also : Earn money online from blogging without any investment and experience

A son took his father to a restaurant to enjoy a delicious dinner. His father was quite old and therefore a little weak too.

While eating, food occasionally fell on his shirt and pants. The other guests watched the old man with their faces contorted in disgust, but his son remained calm. After they both finished eating, the son, quietly helped his father and took him to the toilet. Cleaned food scraps from his crumpled face, and attempted to wash food stains from his clothes; graciously combed his gray hair and finally put on his glasses. As he left the bathroom, a deep silence reigned in the restaurant. The son was ready to foot the bill, but before leaving, a man, also old, got up and asked the old man’s son: ‘Don’t you think you left something here ? ‘ The young man replied: ‘No, I did not leave anything.’ Then the stranger said to him: ‘You left a lesson here for every son, and a hope for every father! ”The whole restaurant was so quiet, you could hear a pin drop. One of the greatest honors that exists, is being able to take care of those who have taken care of us too. Our parents and all those elders who sacrificed their lives, with all their time, money and effort for us, deserve our utmost respect.
